Annual General Meeting 2018
Hi everyone,
It’s getting to that time of year again!
The Gamers Guild AGM is scheduled for 1 pm, August 11th 2018.
Agenda items include:
- Special Resolution to approve the revised Constitution, to comply with the Associations Incorporation Act 2015.
- Approval of revised membership rates to ensure the ongoing financial sustainability of the Gamers Guild.
- Election of the new Gamers Guild Committee for the following term.
Nominations for Committee membership may be made via email to contact@gamersguild.org.au, in writing at any Guild meeting between now and the AGM, or in person at the AGM itself.
EDIT: The proposed revisions for the Constitution for the Special Resolution can be downloaded here. For comparative purposes, the current Constitution from 2006 is also available.
The amendments are based on the WA Government’s model rules for Incorporated Associations, to implement the new requirements of the Associations Incorporation Act 2015.
